- Location of Georgia (country) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Original research by user who's been pushing Georgian POV. Any salvageable content that is not redundant can be merged into Georgia (country). Húsönd 01:33, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, this page had been redirected to Georgia (country) just a few hours ago, but the creator undid the operation and left an WP:OWN-alike message on the talk page. Húsönd 01:54, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually I think it would be nice if they put all of the versions of borders between europe and asia in EUROPE section instead of puting only one map that shows only one version of division ,and this article would not be necessary at all. I made this article to inform people that not me but other users are the ones who treat this website as their own and think they can put only whatever they want there. On europe section there was only one version of borders provided. the author DID NOT EVEN BOTHER to tell why he/she chose that particular version and not something else. if I did the same thing, they would remove it immediately but they always leave their own biased articles on place. there is no official border between europe and asia and until there will be one you should definately either explain ALL of them or if you chose one, explain why and dont say just "because I think its the best" (I received a message from one of the users that said that )what you think is completely irrelevant while making an article on website which has an ambition to be a credible source of informatio. I think the deletion process of this article is unfair and I also think that if users minded their own bias, this article would not be necessary at all. I regret that this article is being nominated for deletion because of some users' "DOUBLE STANDARDS" which is completely unacceptable and which I condemn. --Polscience (talk) 02:35, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Strong delete. This is original research and quite unsuitable for an encyclopedia. The creator appears not to accept the consensus that Georgia is regarded as a transcontinental country and at one stage attempted to remove all mention of Georgia from the List of countries spanning more than one continent. Mathsci (talk) 06:42, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Uncited content fork. The notes as to whether Georgia is in Europe, Asia, or both is adequately covered in the footnote of the article on Georgia. Sjakkalle (Check!) 07:34, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, unecessary article, Georgia is located within the geography and introduction sections of the main article which also mentions the europe question (per Sjakkalle) and the EU and NATO aspirations. This fork seems only to confuse matters - Dumelow (talk) 17:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
